I did say The Eclectic Reader carries books AND MORE. What you are looking at is the sad remnants of a five foot long sedum morganianum succulent, a champion plant I grew at home. In the middle of the night I was awakened by a loud crash that was this plant falling to the floor and crushing everything in its path. The resulting mess was made into cuttings. At least one gallon of leaves fell off.
In an effort to mitigate the disaster of losing a plant it took me years to grow, I would like to sell the cuttings for five for one dollar. Succulents are easy to grow, easy to root. I started with a very small plant…hmmm…how many years ago was it? Ten? Twenty?
This type of succulent was originally from southern Mexico and Honduras. It has blue-green “leaves” and an orangey flower appearing near the terminus of the stems.
