“Connection in a Broken World” 46th Converstion Cafe

The Eclectic Reader will be holding its 46th Conversation Cafe on Saturday, March 19th at 10 a.m. at the bookstore in Cimarron Plaza at Drake and Shields in Fort Collins.   Come early and get some coffee at The Purple Cup Cafe.

The topic this month is: “Connection in a Broken World.”

So many of us in the boomer generation are feeling that the kind of connection we used to have with family, with friends, with our neighborhood and city are a thing of the past, even as the technology to keep in touch has advanced.

Is this true?  What do you think?

Is this something you miss?  Would you like to “connect” with others more often in our present world?  If so…with whom, how often, and in what ways?  Share your ideas and the things that have worked for you to create a sense of family and community.

The Conversation Cafe is a moderated discussion group.  Our goal is to promote community by listening to and sharing our thoughts and ideas with others in a non-confrontational setting.
Everyone is welcome, everyone participates.
