The Eclectic Reader

It’s always exciting  when new books come in.  Sometimes they just walk in the front door and sometimes I’ve been out book hunting.  Hunting for books: the books you ask for, the books I think you should have, the books I’ve read and enjoyed, the most unusual and interesting books, esoteric books, scholarly books.    We don’t order them from the publisher or the distributor.   Many are out of print.  We go out into the world and find them.  That’s the difference between a new bookstore and a used bookstore.
