The Eclectic Reader will be closed from December 25th through January 1st. We will reopen on January 2nd. I’m going to “Portlandia” to visit my grandchildren and family for a much-needed vacation. I might even visit a few bookstores while I’m there. Or not. Most positively, I will be reading books to my grandchildren, which I feel is a very important thing to do. I am extremely fond of juvenile fiction and have been a junky of that genre since shortly after Where the Wild Things Are was first published. Juvenile fiction is so entertaining.
Monty-cat will probably settle down for a long winter’s nap at home with his two pseudo-siblings.
