Well, damp rainy weather washed out our “Tell a Story” Conversation Cafe. Just two of us were there but we had a good time sharing some farm remembrances. Farms are a fertile source of darn good stories. Y’all missed the story of my amazing farm cat – Annie – and her love of chickens. I told about the time she attacked a fox to save one of her chickens. And the day she made the chickens let her join in their game of “mouse football.” I guess you will have to come in the store to hear me tell these true stories.
New books are coming in daily. Eclectic, as usual, and quite interesting I must say
